How much does a typical portrait session cost?

Half day portrait shoots are $150 which includes a 2hr photoshoot with multiple clothing changes.  Within two weeks following the session, a bound proof book containing your best enhanced/processed images and a gallery online will be provided.  For an additional $200, you can receive download capability for your images online in high resolution along with a photographer’s release allowing you to use/print the images however you desire.  The experience I offer, my investment in the best camera and lighting equipment along with the stunning images you walk away with is worth much more, however I have creative ways of keeping costs down and pass those savings to you; to make good images accessible to all.

How much does a typical wedding package cost?

Each event is different and unique, however a typical wedding with me ranges from $800 – $1400.  All wedding packages include a bound proof book containing your best enhanced/processed images and a gallery online within 4 weeks.  Additional items such as flash drives with all high resolution images and photographer’s release can be added to each package.  The experience I offer, my investment in the best camera and lighting equipment along with the stunning images you walk away with is worth much more, however I have creative ways of keeping costs down and pass those savings to you; to make good images accessible to all.

Why not go with a person offering weddings at very low prices?

Does the price of a less-experienced person sound too good to be true?  Often times, it is too good to be true.  My goal is for you to walk away with stunning visual memories of your day.  Often times, people new to photography will offer weddings at very low prices.  Be sure to ask lots of questions about their experience level, photographic style and approach to these tiring events.  Also ask for references before making decisions.  Whether I have the honor of joining you or not, do your homework and ensure you hire the photographer that best matches your needs!

How far in advance do I need to book a session or event?

As soon as you know the event is happening, set up a consultation so we can begin talking, especially for weddings.  The wedding season in Michigan isn’t that long and weekends fill up fast!

How many images will be delivered?

After each session or event, I painstakingly post-process every image and only allow the finest photographs to make it in your proof book.  This makes your book less daunting and easier to review and share.  A typical portrait session often yields 15-20 beautifully processed images.  A typical wedding yields 200-300 images of the same great quality.
